Erg-Chebbi Sahara Tour

Day 1 – From Marrakesh  To Dades

Morning departure from Marrakesh crossing the High Atlas Mountains, over the valleys and the Berber villages, we continue to descend until reaching Ouarzazate, where you have  free time to have lunch. Later we continue to Skoura Oasis, where numerous ancient kasbahs, some sadly in ruins, stand among the palm trees.

From here, the route takes us through Kela’a M’gouna well-known for its biological cosmetic’s products locally-made from natural flowers grown up in the valley.

Overnight at a Berber Hotel / Riad  in the Dades gorges.

Day 2 – From Dades  To Merzouga-Desert

After breakfast in the hotel, we will drive back via the valley to see the amazing rocky formations also the old Kasbah of Ait yul, then we leave Dades valley towards Tinghir and Todra valley. You will have time to get Lunch in a restaurant under 200m high red cliff of Todra’s gorges.

Afterwards, you continue your trip through Erfoud and Rissani to reach Merzouga village, you will be welcomed with a mint tea before you mount upon camels and guided by an experienced camel-man to start your safari within the mysterious golden  Erg-Chebbi Sahara.

Here you will spend your first night under the stars in a traditional Berber nomad tent.

Day 3 – From Merzouga To Ouarzazate

Don’t miss out to get up early to walk over the sand dunes and enjoy the sunrise from just behind the Algerian borders, which is about 50 km from Merzouga.

you will take camels back to the Kasbah, to have shower, breakfast and relaxing time, moreover you will have the opportunity to take pictures. Then we take road towards Agdz village passing through the Nakob village and the Draa valley.

After a short break  in Agdez, you head off to Ouarzazate to spend a wonderful night in a romantic Riad / Hotel.

Day 4 – From Ouarzazate To Marrakech

After breakfast, you will visit the Kasbah of Taourirt,   which was belonged to the Glaoui family, the Pashas of Marrakesh. from here, you  leave the main road to Ait ben Haddou, a worthy visit is devoted to this heaven, a 16th century and a UNESCO  listed site, it is one of the best preserved and most spectacular kasbahs in Morocco.

Also it is a famous site for Hollywood films tournage, across the sceneries of the high Atlas Mountains and tizi ntichka pass you will reach Marrakech in the afternoon.

Dinner and overnight in your majestic hotel/ Riad.

Day 5 – Marrakesh-Flight

Breakfast at the hotel then we hit the roads back to Marrakech airport in order to take your flight on time.
